It is HOT, and I do not mean the Paris Hilton kinda hot either. It was actually 108 at 4, but I didn't have the camera in my hand when I passed that particular sign...but the sweat running down my face made a believer out of me.

I don't like this heat. It is too hot to be outside doing anything...even too hot to be sitting under a beach umbrella with a fru-fru drink with a gulf breeze blowing. I can hear the sizzle from here.

By the time it cools off enough to be outside (90 degrees in the shade here at 8pm), there is homework to finish and baths to be given. There is actually a football game here in 10 days that starts at 6pm. Those poor kids will be falling out like flies under those jerseys and pads. Why don't they wait until mid-September???
