I keep my eyes closed as much as possible. No seriously, they wash it at least once a day. I hate it, but they BEG; and thanks for giving me a bargaining chip for report cards :D
My oldest son had hair like that for a while. He loved it. I (and every adult I know) hated it. But I let him keep it. But then by the grace of God, the hairstyles around here changed for boys. Now they're all wearing short hair. WOO HOO! Happy day when he come home and asked: Mom can you cut my hair. I don't want it long anymore.

My little brother has the hair. He's 19.
It's the style teen boys want. What's a mom to do? Make them cut it and be chastised? Not a chance.
